Charvet Leather Belt with (probably) Silver Buckle

Charvet Leather Belt with (probably) Silver Buckle

$250.00

Charvet was established in 1838 in Paris as the world’s first shirt shop. Its reputation soon grew high and wide, claiming royalty, statesmen, and many other luminaries as patrons. Like Hôtel Ritz just across the street, Charvet, known for offering the finest men’s shirts and ties in the world, has long become an institution of Place Vendôme.

This belt was likely made by Duret —— Parisian bespoke belt maker that also used to make for small-batch commissions from French houses like Arnys. The buckle is stamped with the Charvet label and a hallmark, likely indicating that the metal is silver.
