Charvet Polka Dot Waistcoat

Charvet Polka Dot Waistcoat

$250.00

Charvet was established in 1838 in Paris as the world’s first shirt shop. Its international reputation soon grew, with illustrious customers including royalty and presidents. Like Hôtel Ritz just across the street, Charvet, known for offering the finest men’s shirts and ties in the world, has long become an institution of Place Vendôme.

Charvet waistcoats are hard to come by — offered nowhere in the world other than Charvet’s very own shop at the sacred Parisian address of 28 Place Vendôme. This waistcoat is made from the very finest silk — delicate and strong at the same time. The polka dot on blackish silk with a subtle blue hint is a classical menswear pattern, made famous by Sir Winston Churchill as the preferred fabric for his characteristic bow ties.
